Let us understand the skincare steps for Acne-prone skin.

Wash your Face

Acne-prone skin is not always oily, as the skin tends to be dry in many individuals. If the products chosen for skincare are drying to balance the sebum production, this approach could be harmful to the skin in the long run. One should select pH balancing facewash with soothing and hydrating ingredients like Neem, Tulsi, Tea Tree, Calendula & Green Tea.

Use Toners

After cleansing the skin, one must always use a hydrating toner to refresh the skin and minimize the pores. Spritz pure Rose Water on damp skin and pat the skin as you prep it for the next step. Regular application of rose water helps in toning and skin tightening.

Use Serum

Now the skin is ready to take a nutrient-rich dose of Serum. Apply two drops of face serum rich in Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C as it treats blemishes, uneven skin tone, open pores and calms acne-prone skin. Incorporate Khadi Essentials Vit. C Face Serum is infused with skin repairing ingredients like Licorice that brightens complexion, Green Tea that balances sebum production and Sea Buckthorn that fights early signs of ageing.

Always Use SPF

Sunscreen, preferably oil-free and mattifying in property, is well suited for acne-prone skin. This routine helps protect the skin from harsh rays of the Sun, UV & Blue light. A light hydrating night gel can be used at night as the last step after using the serum.

Use Sheet Mask

Sheet Mask gives intense hydration in less than 15 minutes. Using a Sheet Mask regularly with skin-balancing ingredients like Neem Sheet Mask, Tea Tree, Charcoal, Green Tea & Aloe Vera would ensure adequate skin rejuvenation. Make sure to use these as often as possible, like 2-3 times a week or at least once a week after cleansing your skin thoroughly with a face wash.

Apply a Face Mask

Another skincare essential for Acne-prone skin is a clay-based face mask. Apply the Tea Tree Clay Mask on freshly cleansed skin, leave it on until semi-dry and rinse it off. Spritz rose water after removing the cover and patting the skin. Clay Mask helps draw excess oil, minimizes pores, has anti-bacterial properties and reduces blemishes. Using this once a week keeps the skin healthy and well-balanced.
